Amazon has released a new eBook formatcalled
Kindle Print Replica, which looks more like original print book format and can be read on the Kindle for PC and Mac.
A Print Replica book has the same words and image positioning as the print edition, with common digital features such as annotations, highlights, and the ability to syncing your last page, and has a common look and feel of PDF ebook readers.
Print Replica books are designed to maintain the rich formatting of print editions, and will be offered for book titles, where this type format will enable a better reading experience than the regular Kindle format.
You can identify a Print Replica version of a book by the [Print Replica] in the title. Currently Kindle Print Replica books can be purchased in the United States and can also be rented just like other Kindle editions.
