I enjoy tracking on the meaningful experiences I've had over my career, providing me a robust list of the things that have impacted my professional life. Here is a not so complete list of experiences that have contribute to who I am today.

2024

• February - I experienced Little Shop of Horrors at the Westside Theater in NYC
• February - I experienced Moulin Rouge at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in NYC
• August - I leave Bloomberg to work full time on API Evangelist and APIs.io.

2023

• July - I moved to New York City, and began leading API governance for Bloomberg.

2022

• December - I published my book on the world of APis, The API-First Transformation.

2021

• June - I started the Breaking Changes podcast, looking at the space through the lens of business and engineering leadership.
• January - I became the co-chair for the OpenAPI Initiative (OAI) business governing group (OAI).

2020

• December - I presented on API management to the United Nations Enviornmental Programme.
• November - I become a technical advisor to the OpenTravel Alliance.
• August - I launched Postman's partner program.

2019

• October - Interviewed by Marsh Gardiner at the API Specifications Conference (ASC) as part of a fireside chat.
• September - Joined Postman as their Chief Evangelist.
• January - Joined F5 Networks as their API architect.

2018

• July - Spoke at the POST/CON 2018 conference in Francisco, CA
• August - Spoke at the Blue Button 2.0 Developer Conference At the White House
• September - Helped organize the 9th edition of my API Strategy & Practice conference
• October - Worked with the European Commission as part of their member state API research program

2017

• July - I responded to the Department of Veterans Affairs API RFI
• July - Provided feedback to the FOIA API team on the next genertion of the API
• July - I presented to the Oxford English Dictionary teams about APIs in Oxford, England
• July - I Spoke At Red Hat Event On Microservices In Washington DC
• August - I spoke on CA panel about APIs in the enterprise in Boulder, CO
• August - I presented to the GSA's CIO Office Quarterly API Group In Washington DC
